Platned recently had the pleasure of attending the opening of a brand-new school building at Weralugahamula School in Sri Lanka – a fantastic initiative made possible by the IFS Foundation. This new space is set to make a real difference, giving students a brighter, better environment to learn, grow and dream big.
Representing Platned at the event were our CEO Chamara Arunoda, CCO Steve Boreham, and Head of Platned Sri Lanka, Pubudu Liyanage. It was a proud moment for the whole team to see the impact this project will have on the local community.
The new building isn’t just bricks and mortar – it’s a place where curiosity can thrive and where young minds will be inspired every day. It’s also part of a much bigger effort by the IFS Foundation to support rural schools with the facilities they need to give students the best possible start.
As the brand ambassador for the IFS Foundation, Platned is really pleased to be part of this journey. Education has the power to change lives, and supporting projects like this means more children will have access to the tools and spaces they need to succeed.
This isn’t just a one-off. The IFS Foundation has been consistently supporting schools and communities across Sri Lanka, and Platned is proud to play our part in helping these efforts grow.
