IFS Foundation update - finishing touches at Weralugahamula school

With handover day fast approaching, the finishing touches are being made to the new classrooms at Weralugahamula School – thanks to an inspiring team effort. Volunteers from IFS, Platned, HOIST, and IGT1 Lanka came together on site to help prepare the facilities for their grand opening on 6th June.

Representing Platned, Deshani Kathriarachchi and Yehani Wijesuriya rolled up their sleeves and joined the hands-on work, painting fresh coats of white onto the brand-new classroom walls. Their contribution – alongside the wider team of volunteers – has helped transform these new buildings into bright, welcoming spaces for students and teachers to thrive.
