Mitutoyo goes live with IFS Cloud™ in global upgrade success

We’re excited to share that Mitutoyo has officially gone live with IFS Cloud™, completing a major upgrade from IFS Applications 10. 

The project kicked off in November 2024, and after months of focused collaboration and hard work, the new system went live in July 2025. The upgrade covers key functional areas including supply chain management, maintenance, finance, and HR, giving Mitutoyo a modern, cloud-based platform that’s built for agility and long-term growth.

With operations spanning the globe, Mitutoyo needed a solution that could support their international teams while streamlining processes across the board. IFS Cloud™ delivers just that, bringing together improved data visibility, more efficient workflows, and a scalable foundation for the future.

Throughout the project, Platned worked closely with Mitutoyo’s internal teams to keep everything on track, from planning and testing to data migration and deployment. The result? A smooth, well-executed transition to the cloud, completed on schedule and with zero disruption to day-to-day operations.
