AI-driven innovation

From 2–4 June 2025, the vibrant city of Nashville, Tennessee played host to IFS Connect North America: an event that brought together leaders, innovators and customers from across the enterprise technology landscape. With a clear focus on Industrial AI – Your Catalyst for High Performance, the conference served as a powerful platform for knowledge sharing, product showcases and peer engagement.

Hosted at the renowned Country Music Hall of Fame & Museum, the event featured impactful keynote sessions from top IFS executives including Matt Breslin (President, North America), Simon Niesler (Chief Revenue Officer), and Christian Pedersen (Chief Product Officer). They laid out IFS’s ambitious vision for embedding AI across business processes; aimed at boosting service performance, asset productivity and decision-making speed.

Throughout the event, attendees heard from organisations already reaping the benefits of these advancements. One standout case study came from Konica Minolta, which reported a 21% increase in SLA adherence, a 25% rise in technician productivity, and an impressive 4x return on investment through its use of IFS.ai.

Among the key themes of the event was co-innovation – particularly in how companies can move from AI curiosity to real, scalable adoption. This is where Nexus Black, IFS’s newly launched collaborative programme, took centre stage. While officially unveiled earlier this year, IFS Connect North America provided the ideal opportunity to introduce Nexus Black to a broader audience, especially in the US market. Designed to pair IFS with select customers, the programme focuses on co-developing industry-specific AI agents and solutions tailored to complex, real-world challenges. Its inclusion in keynote discussions and AI-focused breakout sessions highlighted IFS’s commitment to helping customers harness AI in a meaningful and secure way.

The exhibition floor added another layer of energy to the event, with technology partners and implementation experts on hand to demonstrate how IFS solutions are transforming field service, enterprise asset management, and project-based operations. It was an environment full of insight and innovation, where attendees could explore everything from predictive maintenance and digital twins to ESG tracking and intelligent automation.

Among the valued contributors to this event was Platned, proud Silver Sponsor of IFS Connect North America 2025.

The Platned team – represented on-site by Daniel Young, Colin Beaney, and John Logie – welcomed a steady stream of visitors to their booth. Engaging in discussions around Industrial AI, digital transformation, and maximising return on IFS investments, Platned shared practical insights into how organisations can bridge strategy with execution. Their presence reflected the company’s strong partnership with IFS and its ongoing mission to help clients unlock its full potential.
