As part of our continued growth, we are seeking an experienced Site Reliability Engineer to support market expansion across the United Kingdom. This is an exciting opportunity to join a high-performing team at the forefront of IFS-driven business transformation.

Role Overview

We are looking for skilled and driven professionals to join our technical team in Sri Lanka. This role is ideal for those who bring not just systems engineering expertise but also hands-on experience working with ERP applications such as IFS. You will play a critical role in supporting complex enterprise systems, spanning databases, cloud platforms, and Linux-based infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

• Support, troubleshoot, and maintain IFS environments, ensuring platform stability, performance, availability, and operational reliability.
• Administer and support Oracle databases, including setup, patching, performance monitoring, troubleshooting, backup, and recovery activities.
• Manage, maintain, and troubleshoot Linux (including Ubuntu) and Windows-based servers and infrastructure supporting IFS and Oracle environments.
• Support and maintain containerised environments, including Kubernetes (AKS and MicroK8s), ensuring platform health and operational stability.
• Monitor ERP and infrastructure workloads using monitoring and observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, and related platforms.
• Work closely with ERP consultants and internal teams to support IFS Cloud and IFS Applications 10 environments and ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
• Participate in shift-based operations to support 24×7 managed services coverage.
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation, operational procedures, and knowledge base articles while maintaining effective communication with internal teams and customers.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline, with a minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in systems engineering or infrastructure support environments.
• Proven experience in supporting and troubleshooting IFS or other ERP applications, with exposure to Oracle databases, Linux/Windows servers, and cloud-hosted infrastructure. Experience with IFS environments will be considered a strong advantage.
• Good working knowledge of Oracle databases, including performance monitoring, troubleshooting, backup, and recovery activities, along with exposure to Linux (including Ubuntu), Azure, and cloud technologies.
• Experience or exposure to containerised environments, including Kubernetes platforms such as AKS and MicroK8s, and monitoring tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, or related platforms.
• Professional certifications in Oracle, Azure, AWS, Linux, or ERP technologies (IFS) will be considered an advantage.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, 24×7 managed services environment.
