Senior / ERP Consultant – IFS FSM/PSO – Sri Lanka

Role Overview

Are you an experienced IFS Consultant who has a sound understanding of FSM/PSO and looking for a new opportunity with a fast-growing global business?

Reporting to the Team Lead this highly visible role will see you at the forefront of delivering premium IFS offerings directly with Platned customers.

Responsibilities

• Conduct requirement-gathering sessions with clients to understand their business processes and configure the IFS FSM/PSO modules accordingly.
• Design and develop solutions that meet client requirements by configuring the IFS FSM/PSO modules.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including business analysts, developers, and project managers, to ensure successful implementation and integration of the IFS FSM/PSO modules.
• Conduct system testing, identify and resolve issues or bugs, and ensure the solution meets the defined quality standards.
• Provide training and support to end-users on the effective use of the IFS FSM/PSO modules.
• Assist in data migration activities, including data mapping, extraction, cleansing, and validation.
• Stay updated with the latest IFS FSM/PSO features, releases, and enhancements and provide recommendations on leveraging new functionalities to optimize business processes.
• Collaborate with clients to identify opportunities for process improvements and provide consultancy on best practices for utilizing the IFS FSM/PSO modules.
• Develop documentation, including functional specifications, technical designs, test plans, and user guides.
• Ensure compliance with project timelines, deliverables, and budgetary constraints.
• Train and mentor juniors in the consulting team.

Knowledge, skills, and abilities

• A bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Proven experience as an IFS FSM/PSO Consultant, implementing and configuring the IFS FSM/PSO modules.
• Strong understanding of field service management, Planning and scheduling Optimization, and Mobile work order processes.
• Experience with system integration and data migration activities.
• Solid knowledge of SQL and database concepts.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with clients and cross-functional teams.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Certification in IFS FSM/PSO modules.
• At least minimum of one IFS implementation and one upgrade.
• Ability to communicate fluently in English is a must.
• Ability to manage stakeholder expectations.
