Role Overview

We are looking for a MYOB Technical Consultant to join our Support Team and provide technical and functional assistance to customers using business management and ERP solutions.
The successful candidate will be responsible for investigating and resolving technical issues, supporting system configurations, troubleshooting data and reporting-related issues, and working closely with customers and internal consulting teams to deliver effective solutions.

The role requires a strong understanding of ERP systems, excellent technical troubleshooting skills, and the ability to work directly with customers in a support environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide Level 1 and Level 2 technical support for MYOB and related business applications.
• Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve application and system-related issues within agreed SLAs.
• Work closely with customers to understand issues, identify root causes, and provide appropriate solutions.
• Assist with system configuration, customisation, reporting, data-related queries, and integrations.
• Analyse application and database issues using appropriate technical tools and SQL queries.
• Support data migration, data validation, and data correction activities where required.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation, knowledge articles, and troubleshooting guides.
• Collaborate with functional consultants, developers, project teams, and other technical resources to resolve complex issues.
• Escalate product defects and complex technical issues to the relevant teams while maintaining ownership through to resolution.
• Participate in testing, system upgrades, patches, and other application maintenance activities.
• Maintain accurate records of support cases, resolutions, and time spent on customer activities.
• Communicate technical information clearly and effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

• A degree or diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, Business Computing, or a related field.
• Previous experience in ERP technical support, application support, or technical consulting.
• Experience with MYOB or similar ERP/business management platforms is preferred.
• Experience with Acumatica would be a strong advantage.
• Working knowledge of SQL is required.
• Experience with reporting, data migration, integrations, or ERP configuration would be advantageous.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Knowledge of Generic Inquiries, Business Events, Report Designer (SSRS), and Customisation Projects would be an advantage.
• Knowledge of C#/.NET Framework would be an advantage.
