Platned Sports Day 2025: a celebration of team spirit and togetherness

Platned’s highly anticipated Sports Day 2025 was a resounding success, bringing employees together in a spirit of camaraderie, competition, and celebration. The event, which spanned multiple days, featured a variety of sports and challenges designed to foster teamwork and sportsmanship.

The excitement began with two pre-event competitions—Badminton and Carrom—setting the stage for an action-packed main event on 22 February. On the final day, four teams—Dutugemunu, Wijayabahu, Parakramabahu, and Walagambha—battled it out across an array of events, including cricket, tag rugby, tug-o-war, beer pong, and a mind-bending scavenger hunt.

As the competitions unfolded, the energy and enthusiasm were palpable, with employees cheering each other on and demonstrating their determination and unity. At the conclusion of all events, Team Dutugemunu emerged as the overall champions, showcasing outstanding performance and teamwork throughout the sports days.
