Role Overview
We are seeking a Solutions Architect to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will design and implement business solutions in collaboration with stakeholders, providing technical leadership to ensure the solution’s alignment with organizational needs and development best practices. The role involves analysing business requirements to create functional and technical solutions. Responsibilities include ensuring compatibility with existing systems, maintaining thorough documentation, and participating in project planning and risk management.
Responsibilities
- In-depth understanding of customers’ business processes and perform the IFS solution mapping by applying the appropriate functionalities to ensure the customer’s business success.
- Optimise solutions to enhance customers’ operational efficiency and productivity.
- Participate in all stages of the project lifecycle from initiation to Go Live.
- Create requirements gathering workshop plans and lead the workshops, coordinate with relevant consultants in different functional domains to ensure customers’ requirements are well understood, perform the solution design, and demonstrate designs to all stakeholders.
- Take responsibility for development project activities, collaborate with respective consultants within the project team on requirement analysis, solution design, and specification writing.
- Acquire new knowledge within targeted customer segments and relevant IFS functionalities.
- Create estimates for projects and coordinate with project managers to develop project management plans.
- Have a good understanding of technical aspects and the ability to coordinate with technical experts to achieve the most optimised technical designs by considering application performance, maintainability, expandability, and compatibility with upcoming technologies.
- Able to handle scope tool modelling, guide customers in using data tracker, test tracker, and other IFS implementation-related tools.
Knowledge, skills, and abilities
- University Degree with a specialization in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Science, Engineering, or a similar field.
- Minimum of 8-10 years of working experience in IFS Applications and working with IFS implementation projects.
- Proficiency in business process knowledge in multiple functional domains of IFS applications like Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Maintenance, Finance, Projects, HR, etc. Having multiple IFS certifications is a definite advantage
- Excellent communication skills and ability to effectively communicate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Proficiency in the scope tool, Book of Rules, and other IFS Implementation tools.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
- Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies and tools.
- Ability to travel to customer sites.
