Intern – Technical Consulting (Software Engineering)

Role Overview

We are seeking an enthusiastic and talented Intern to join the Platned Software Engineering Team. This internship offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience at the intersection of technology and business, as well as practical exposure to leading ERP systems such as IFS.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the design and development of web applications.
• Work with the team to implement server-side logic using Node.js and Express.js.
• Develop dynamic user interfaces and templates with EJS and JavaScript.
• Integrate and manage data using MongoDB.
• Participate in code reviews, testing, and debugging.
• Collaborate with senior engineers to deliver project requirements on time.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Basic understanding of JavaScript (ES6+).
• Familiarity with Node.js and Express.js frameworks.
• Knowledge of MongoDB and database concepts.
• Ability to learn and work with EJS templating.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Willingness to learn quickly and work effectively in a team environment.
• Exposure to Git/GitHub version control.
• Understanding of REST APIs.
• Experience with HTML, CSS, and responsive web design.
• Familiarity with TypeScript, Redux, and React/Next.js would be an advantage.
