Role Overview
Are you an energetic and detail-oriented professional looking to grow your career in resource management? This role offers the opportunity to develop skills in planning, monitoring, and coordinating project resources while supporting the Resource Management team.
As an Associate Resource Planning Executive, you will assist in resource planning and allocation, coordinate staffing requirements, and help maintain accurate project data. This position provides valuable exposure to end-to-end resource management, while strengthening your analytical and coordination skills.
Responsibilities:
- Assist and support the Resource Manager (RM) in coordinating and optimising workforce allocation, certification planning, and external resourcing.
- Work with the RM to monitor utilisation, maintain resource databases, and ensure timely upskilling through training and certifications.
- Coordinate with team leads to collect and update staffing requirements.
- Support the preparation of resource reports and documentation.
- Monitor staff availability and maintain accurate records in resource management systems.
- Ensure timely updates of any changes to project schedules or staffing allocations.
- Provide administrative and operational support to the resource management function.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Minimum of 1 year’s experience in a similar role.
- A bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional qualification.
- Strong organisational and coordination skills.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, Microsoft Office packages, or resource planning tools.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret utilisation and capacity data.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to follow through on commitments.
