Role Overview

Responsibilities
- Collaborate with clients to assess, identify, and develop solutions that address their manufacturing, enterprise asset management (EAM), or maintenance-related business needs using the IFS ERP software platform.
- Work alongside senior consultants to understand customer requirements and assist in providing tailored recommendations and solutions.
- Support the configuration of IFS ERP Software under supervision to meet specific client needs for optimal system performance.
- Assist in various phases of the project life cycle, including gathering requirements, system configuration, and supporting customer training sessions.
- Provide support and maintenance services to ensure the continued success of implemented ERP systems.
- Participate in training and development programs to deepen your understanding of IFS ERP software functionality and stay updated on best practices.
Knowledge, skills, and abilities
- A bachelor’s degree with specialization in Chemical & Process Engineering, Production Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Material Science Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Textile & Apparel Engineering.
- 1–2 years of experience in a relevant discipline.
- Very good academic understanding of core concepts in manufacturing, EAM, or maintenance management.
- Excellent communication skills in English and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- A proactive, results-oriented mindset with a strong willingness to learn and grow.
- Previous internships, coursework, or project experience related to ERP systems or consulting is an advantage but not mandatory.

Systems Engineer – Sri Lanka

Role Overview
Are you passionate about technology and eager to kick-start your career in systems engineering? We are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Systems Engineer. This role requires hands-on experience in Kubernetes, Oracle Database Administration, and Azure Cloud Services. Knowledge in IFS ERP Administration is a significant advantage. Responsibilities
- Kubernetes Expertise: Leverage your experience in Kubernetes (AKS) to manage and optimise our containerised environments.
- Oracle Database Administration: Apply your minimum 1 year of Oracle DBA experience to database setup, performance monitoring, and troubleshooting.
- Monitor incoming alerts to ensure system uptime and promptly resolve disruptions.
- Address cases assigned by the shift lead, delivering high-quality output while meeting established SLAs.
- Act as the ultimate solution point for day-to-day support and service requests.
- Azure Cloud and AWS: Demonstrate expertise in these platforms to contribute to our cloud-based infrastructure.
- IFS ERP Knowledge: Utilise your understanding of IFS Administration to support and enhance ERP systems (an added advantage).
- Collaborate effectively with team members and clients using excellent written and spoken English communication skills.
- Approach challenges with strong problem-solving skills and deliver efficient solutions.
- Work seamlessly on a roster pattern to ensure the smooth operation of our systems.
- Demonstrate proficiency in Linux for system performance optimisation.
- Utilise tools like Prometheus and Grafana for effective monitoring and visualisation.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven track record in a systems engineering or IT service delivery role.
- Solid understanding of Oracle, Kubernetes (AKS), Azure Cloud, AWS, and Linux.
- IFS ERP Knowledge is a strong plus.
- Ability to adapt to a dynamic work environment and contribute effectively to team projects.
- Eagerness to learn and stay updated on the latest technologies and industry trends.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Exceptional communication and teamwork abilities.

Senior ERP Consultant – Maintenance – Sri Lanka

Role Overview
Are you an experienced IFS Consultant who has a sound understanding of the Maintenance module and looking for a new opportunity with a fast-growing global business?
This highly visible role will see you at the forefront of delivering premium IFS offerings directly with Platned customers.
Responsibilities
- Work with clients to assess, identify, and develop solutions to meet their maintenance-based business needs in the IFS ERP software platform.
- Advise and guide the customer, listen and challenge in order to understand the customer’s needs, and advise the customer in their usage of IFS products.
- Configure IFS ERP Software to match specific client requirements for optimal performance.
- Be involved in different phases of the project life cycle that address the customers’ key requirements including conducting customer training.
- Provide customers with ongoing support and maintenance services to ensure the continued success of the implemented ERP system.
- Continuously develop deep expertise in IFS ERP software functionality: staying abreast of new features of best practices.
- Train and mentor juniors in the consulting team
Knowledge, skills, and abilities
- A bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or discipline.
- Minimum of 4 to 5 years working experience in IFS Applications in the functional area he/ she is applying for.
- Good understanding of the concepts and fundamentals of the functional area he/she is applying for.
- Ability to work independently and have a results-oriented mindset while closely collaborating and working with team members.
- At least a minimum of one IFS implementation and one upgrade.
- Consulting experience and holding an IFS Practitioner certificate is a must.
- Ability to communicate fluently in English is a must.
- Ability to manage stakeholder expectations
