Associate Project Manager – North America Shift

Role Overview
We are looking for a dynamic and experienced individual to join our team as an Associate Project Manager.
Reporting to the Senior Project Manager this highly visible role will see you overseeing and managing various projects within the organisation and working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the planning, direction, and guidance of projects, ensuring the quality and proper use of Project Management Methodologies and implementation tools.
- Responsible for project status reporting internally and to the customer, including project steering group.
- Strong communication abilities with good customer facing skills, able to interact effectively at all levels within customer organisations.
- Ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget, managing scope, risks, and resources while maintaining reporting structures.
- Oversee customer communications and progress and guide the delivery of both Platned and customer project deliverables.
- Review all time and cost bookings monthly to ensure accurate invoicing within reporting deadlines.
- Must be capable with MS Project and the Platned standard MS Office documents. Understands the point of keeping a current plan and can provide a current earned value analysis for their projects
- The individual must work within the contract’s boundaries, delivering projects on time, within budget, and to the required quality.
- Comprehensively understands Risk Management; can identify, assess and actively manage risk within the project, guiding the customer and Platned accordingly.
- Establish and maintain effective communication channels with clients, internal teams, and external vendors to ensure alignment on project goals and expectations.
- Allocate resources effectively to ensure project milestones are achieved on schedule, including coordinating with functional leads, developers, and consultants.
Knowledge, skills, and abilities
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Computer Science, or a related field.
- PMP/ CSM/ PMI-ACP/PRINCE2 Certification(s) will be an added advantage.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in project management, preferably in ERP implementation or IT consulting.
- Strong understanding of ERP systems, such as SAP, Oracle, or Microsoft Dynamics, and their implementation methodologies. Experience with IFS ERP System will be an added advantage.
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive collaboration to achieve project objectives.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with clients and internal stakeholders at all levels.
- Solid organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Experience with project management tools such as Microsoft Project, Jira, or Asana.
- Flexibility to travel occasionally to client sites as needed.
