Senior C# Developer – Sri Lanka

Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior C# Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in designing, developing, and maintaining software solutions while mentoring junior team members and ensuring adherence to best practices. You will contribute to architecture and design decisions, lead small projects, and actively participate in Agile methodologies to deliver high-quality, scalable, and secure applications.

Key Responsibilities: 

• Design and develop robust, scalable, and secure applications in line with project requirements and company standards.
• Collaborate with Team Leads and the Head of Department to validate and refine software architectures and solutions.
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code while adhering to established coding standards and security principles.
• Guide and mentor Developers and Junior Developers, fostering their technical growth and career development.
• Conduct thorough code reviews to ensure quality, consistency, and alignment with best practices.
• Support the QA team in testing and resolving issues during the development lifecycle.
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve technical issues in a timely and effective manner.
• Actively engage in Scrum ceremonies, occasionally leading discussions and ensuring seamless project delivery.
• Manage small-scale projects, ensuring timely completion and alignment with business objectives.

Knowledge, skills, and abilities:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).
• Certifications in Azure or other relevant technologies.
• Several years of professional software development experience at a Senior level, demonstrating expertise in solution design and implementation.
• Proficiency in cloud technologies, preferably Microsoft Azure.
• Familiarity with DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines and automated deployments.
• Expertise in database and storage design using SQL and/or NoSQL solutions (preferably Azure/MS SQL).
• Advanced proficiency in C# for backend development.
• Comprehensive experience in full-stack web development, including modern JavaScript frameworks (preferably Angular) and RESTful API design.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Exceptional communication and teamwork abilities.
